Permission to Change Your Mind!

Let me tell you all about how I gave myself permission to change my mind, and how you can too!

One of the things I SO often witness in my clients (and let's be honest, in myself!) is a FEAR of making the wrong choice.

We so often forget that we are allowed to change our minds.

The world we live in puts SO MUCH pressure on us to 'have it all figured out' to be perfect before we even start. And when it doesn't happen this way, well guess what, we often feel we need to PRETEND it did, or bully ourselves into forcing it to work.

Yet it is often in the messiness, the acceptance of our imperfection, that we end up exactly where we are meant to be!

But how do we actually do it?

Insert Self-Compassion & Curiosity:

Anyone who has worked with me, knows I encourage an approach seeped in self-compassion and curiosity! (aka bullying leads to burnout!) While self-compassion might sound easier it also takes vulnerability, to admit that, well you're not perfect!

When I first shared my Summer Series Workshops, I was convinced they were the picture of puuuuurfect for this season.

I continue to love the content and the transformations they support for people, but as the first one ticked closer, I wanted to be honest with myself, this no longer felt light, exciting, or energizing, it felt like a weight I was rolling up a hill trying to convince myself it was right. I felt like I was ‘supposed to do it’.

And initially the idea of pivoting, of not doing them, felt like a complete failure.

The Power of the Pause:

Pausing is a practice. One I highly encourage but still need to loving remind myself to practice too!

When things aren’t unfolding in the way we hoped or dreamed, it is so easy to get stuck in the panicky mentality of go-go-go, push harder, force it.

Pausing and connecting to your why, can be an extremely powerful practice as an antidote to this energy of panicking and forcing it!

I understand ‘checking in with your why’ can feel highly ambiguous for folks…

So let me break down for you exactly what I asked myself:

  • What do I REALLY want to get out of these workshops? WHY am I putting them on? Are these workshops the only way to foster these feelings and outcomes?

  • How much capacity do I have to give to them? If I keep pushing, will anything else suffer?

  • What are the alternatives available, what is it I actually need to be pouring my love and attention into right now?

And you know what, the magic of time and space, to reconnect with myself, the answer came through for me with conviction!

(I firmly believe we have most of the answers we need without ourselves if we have the support and courage to really listen!)

I wanted to create an accessible option for people to experience the magic and potential coaching has to support transformation in their lives, to sprinkle joy and relief, and renewed energy. And this is 100% what I plan to do, but it became clear that the summer series was NOT the way I needed to do this!

So, I am pivoting! And it feels amazing!

The summer series workshops have been taken down, and I will deliver ONE workshop, the workshop that I have been wanting to put on for ages, the one that has been building in the back of my mind and on my heart for some time, the one that takes the magic of what I have learned with so many of my clients to date, the one I know you all truly need right now.

If you want to be the first to know when this gorgeous new workshop is open for registration, join my mailing list below!!

(I will host it twice, once online and once in person!)

With love,

Stephanie
